W hat’s your first reaction when you hear the word, “hospice?”

Death?   Maybe fear?

Well, fear not, as hospice organizations are simply wonderful resources for those with cancer, end stage cancer and their caregivers and families.

The hospice I am familiar with is Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice in Chicago’s western suburbs.  There are hundreds of others across the country, but I’ll soon be adding more detailed information about what hospice services are/can be so it will take a bit of the fear out of the word for you.
